| 1. My junk filter just doesn't catch enough spam, what else can I do? |

Through much research and testing, we've found that many of the available spam/virus filters do an Ok job at catching about 60% of a users incoming junk mail. As time passes, spam (unwanted email) and its delivery methods changes. The spam evolves but the filter remains the same. The end result is that you find yourself deleting more spam on a daily basis which is a waste of your time and your money.
Postini (www.Postini.com) has developed several methods by which they are able to track spam, the IPs that send the spam and have created filtering systems that can detect, learn and block blatant spam. The Postini system blocks about 95% of all spam before it gets to the users hosting company or email server. The email which the Postini system is unsure of to be spam mail is put into a quarantine folder. Each day, the user is sent a message to login and view the quarantined email. At this point, the user can either have the mail delivered if they want and the sending party approved for future mailings or the mail can be removed from the system. |

Yes, you can control how Postini filters your mail. There are settings which you can configure and, of course, you can specify users that are allowed to send mail to you as well as users that are not allowed to send mail to you. |

| 8. How much less email will I have? |

Our experience is that 95% of our junk mail is removed after the first few days. Another 3% to 4% is quarantined. These are excellent numbers in comparison to the other spam filtering systems we've tried. When you find yourself getting up in the morning and spending the first half hour or more of your day going through email and deleting spam, you'll smile when have Postini and it takes less than five minutes to go through your mail in the morning.
