Instructions Regarding Your Account With Web Hosting Logic
Registering A New Domain Name
If you would like to register a new domain name, send an email to support@webhostinglogic.com and representative
from WebHosting Logic will contact you regarding the different options that you have in registering your domain
name.
If you need assistance in transfering your domain to WebHosting Logic, no problem. You can skip the following two
sections of information and email support@webhostinglogic.com. We'll assist you in getting your domain transfered with any registrar.
Name Server Information
If you already own the domain name that you wish to use with your account, you can transfer it at any time. Our
name servers are listed below:

FTP Information
Uploading your web site for the first time:
If your domain name is already pointed at the name servers listed above and your account is setup, then you can
use the host name (www.yourdomain.com) in the host name field of your ftp client. If your domain name is not pointed
at the name servers listed above and your account is setup, then you can use the host name (web1.networkinglogic.com)
in the host name field of your ftp client.
Other information that will be asked of you by your ftp client include your (User Name) and (Password). Both of
these pieces of information will be either confirmed from the form which you submitted to setup your account or
a new user name and password will be given to you by our tech team.
If your ftp client asks you for a directory to enter into upon logging into the server, you can use either /home/your-user-name
or you can use /home/your-user-name/yourdomain.com or you can use nothing! You are not required to specify a directory
to login. Our server will direct you to your home directory upon logging in. In your directory, you will find folders
for each of your website(s).
Where to put your files:
Once you've logged into the server using ftp, you will find a folder in your home directory for your website (yourdomain.com).
Place all of your html, image files, etc. in the directory labled (yourdomain.com).

Server path: /home/httpd/yourdomain.com
Full url: http://www.yourdomain.com
Place all of your PERL and CGI scripts in the directory labled (yourdomain.com/cgi-bin).
Your path: /home/your-user-name/yourdomain.com/cgi-bin
Server path: /home/httpd/yourdomain.com/cgi-bin
Full url: http://www.yourdomain.com/cgi-bin
If you are using our SSL services, we will place a folder in the directory for your website called (secure).
Your path: /home/your-user-name/yourdomain.com/secure
Server path: /home/httpd/secure.webhostinglogic.com/yourdomain
Full url: https://secure.webhostinglogic.com/yourdomain
If you have any PERL or CGI scripts that need to run from the secure server using SSL, we also provided a (cgi-bin)
within the directory secure.
